First Courses

Grilled Cornish goats cheese with a grape and walnut salad

Creole spiced Cornish crab boulettes with salad leaves and a sweet and sour dressing

Gratin of scallops topped with this season’s fresh Cornish asparagus
 

Main Courses

Cornish crab risotto with parmesan and truffle oil

Casserole of Cornish lamb braised in St Austell Tribute ale with a cauliflower puree

Roasted monkfish with butternut squash and a balsamic vinegar reduction

Trenant Farm rib eye steak with a brandy and Cornish cream sauce

A trio of Cornish fish with a lime and red onion butter

Olives and four of Mark Napper’s speciality breads, which are baked daily at Trawlers using local West Country flour, are offered with Rodda’s freshly churned Cornish butter. A selection of seasonal vegetables is served with all main courses. All our ingredients are sourced from local suppliers and wherever possible are produced in Cornwall or the West Country. Our day boat fish is landed here in Looe, with our smoked fish from St Ives.

Puddings

Mark Napper’s trio of pots, lemon posset, crème brûlée and a chocolate and orange custard

Our own recipe bread and Cornish butter pudding with raisins soaked in Jamaican rum and vanilla ice cream

A classic crème brûlée with a compote of this season’s Tamar Valley strawberries

A selection of Cornish award winning ice creams and sorbets

All our puddings are home made on the premises by Mark Napper, using quality Cornish and West Country produce.

Cheese

Trawlers Cornish cheese ‘board’ - A selection of fine Cornish cheeses including ‘Yarg’, Cornish brie, a sweet and mellow cheddar smoked over ‘fragrant Cornish fruit woods’, and ‘Cornish Blue’ (a delicious blue cheese) with celery, apple, water biscuits and warmed home made bread
